As they walked through the facilities, Sheila spoke with immense pride about their commitment to the Blue Economy, emphasizing how they are not merely processing fish, but actively driving local value addition and significant social impact. She explained how their efforts are creating sustainable livelihoods, particularly for women, who are at the heart of their operations – from the local fisherfolk who supply them to the women involved in processing, packaging, and distribution. The guests' keen interest and insightful questions were truly encouraging, validating the vision that has drawn Sheila back to Migori.
